Method & assumptions

Estimated kcal/day = 10×kg + 6.25×cm − 5×age + sex coefficient.

Worked example

70 kg, 175 cm, age 30, male coefficient gives 1648.75 kcal/day.

Questions, answered

Is this my recommended food intake?

No. It estimates resting expenditure, not full-day needs, and may not suit pregnancy, illness, or unusual body composition.

Where does this calculation run?

It runs locally in your browser. Enter plain numbers without currency symbols or thousands separators; use the same currency and measurement units throughout unless a converter explicitly asks for units.
