Pressure Converter
Convert pressure magnitudes between pascals, kilopascals, bar, standard atmospheres, and pounds per square inch. Enter a nonnegative value and select both units.
How to use Pressure Converter
- Enter “Value”, using the units and limits shown in its label.
- Choose the appropriate “From unit” option for your task.
- Choose the appropriate “To unit” option for your task.
- Select Calculate or Process. Review the result and any validation message before copying or downloading available output. Reset clears the result and restores the starting inputs.
Method & assumptions
Converted value = input × source base-unit factor / destination base-unit factor.

Questions, answered
Does conversion change gauge into absolute pressure?
No. Units alone do not define the reference pressure. Keep the same absolute or gauge basis, or account for atmospheric pressure separately.
Where does this calculation run?
It runs locally in your browser. Enter plain numbers without currency symbols or thousands separators; use the same currency and measurement units throughout unless a converter explicitly asks for units.
